Pojagi panel

I am making these Pojagi panels, that could be use as curtains. They are composed with different pieces of white antic fabric, and with light passing through, they look like an abstract painting higligting the different consistency of the materials.
Of course, each of them is handmade and unique.

The pojagi is a breath of Korea, a fabric made of pieces, remains, sewn silences.
He hides nothing: on the contrary, he celebrates seams, borders, joints.

Traditionally, it was used to wrap a bowl, cover a donation, protect a secret.
Even today, he keeps this discreet aura of the sacred in the useful.
It is as light as a stained glass window of fabric.
The light passes through it.
She reveals the seams as paths.
She talks about patience, care, repeated gestures.
It is a slow, almost meditative practice.

The pojagi does not seek perfection.
He prefers harmony.
